The flat, paved path winds through Hermosa, as well as Manhattan to the north & Redondo & Torrance to the south. Heading northward you will ride past Playa del Rey, a small jet inland at Marina Del Rey and back on the beach at Venice & on through Santa Monica.  The Strand is popular with cyclists, joggers, rollerbladers and anyone lucky enough to find themselves on the beloved beachside path.
